The Presto Melt Flow Index Tester is your go-to solution to evaluate the flow properties of molten plastics or resins. This tester is designed to measure the Melt Flow Index of thermoplastic materials and, hence, determines the rate of flow in grams per ten minutes of molten resins through a specific jet length and diameter.

Equipped with a microcontroller-based PID temperature controller, the MFI tester offers precise temperature control from ambient to 400°C. With a resolution of 0.1°C and an accuracy of ± 0.1°C, you can rely on its temperature readings for accurate results.

This instrument has a digital presettable timer with the range of up to 59 minutes and 59 seconds with a buzzer output. Automatic sample cutting provision for accuracy and smooth operation.
