It determines how much pressure a material can withstand before it ruptures.
The determination of a material's bursting or rupture force relies on a Digital Indicator, a vital parameter for assessing material quality. The Digital Bursting Strength Tester, available at our facility, operates through hydraulic pressure exerted beneath a rubber diaphragm onto the test sample. This versatile machine accurately evaluates the bursting strength of various materials like paper, corrugated cardboard, carton boxes, leather, cloth, or synthetic leather, quantifying the result in kg/cm².
Specifically tailored for paper and strong paperboard, this tester features a simple testing procedure. The specimen is secured between circular clamps and tightened using the provided geared handle. Increased hydraulic pressure is then applied until the specimen ruptures.
