The Presto Muffle Furnace is a reliable tool used to find out the ash content in different materials. Knowing the percentage of ash in a substance helps understand its properties and quality. This furnace is carefully designed following IS and ASTM standards to ensure accuracy and safety.
It is widely used in many areas including medical research, agriculture, industry, rubber and wool production, metal treatment, and ash testing.
To measure ash content, a sample of the material is weighed and then burned in the furnace. After burning, the remaining ash is weighed, and the percentage of ash is calculated. This process helps in determining the amount of minerals or other solid substances present in the sample.
The Presto Muffle Furnace has a durable finish in Autumn Gray and Blue, which protects it from rust and corrosion.
Each furnace comes with all the necessary documents including an Instruction Manual, Electrical Wiring Diagram, and a Calibration Certificate that is traceable to NABL-approved laboratories.
